CHRISTIAN LIFE AND SERVICE SEMINARS, or simply
CLASS for short.
We
offer four basic classes at Trinity, designed to help you make the right
commitments in life and to help you grow the most important relationship that
you will ever have. We are interested in you as an individual and want to help
you make the most of your opportunities in this life in order to prepare you for
the real life that awaits all of us. We encourage you to move around the bases here at
Trinity and become a grand-slam Christian. You can do this by attending our
classes and by making the commitments they represent. The classes are very
informal and we provide a free warm lunch for those who attend.
CLASS 101 - DISCOVERING CHURCH MEMBERSHIP (1st
Base)
Purple is the color of the royal family. We want you to belong to the real Royal
Family, which is God's family. In this class we teach what it means to be a
member of God's family, his church. We talk about the importance of making sure
that you are saved in Jesus Christ and explain to you how you can do that. We
also introduce you to our church and give you an opportunity to ask questions.
Everyone who wants to become a member at Trinity needs to take this class.
CLASS 201 - DISCOVERING SPIRITUAL GROWTH (2nd Base)
The color green represents growth in nature. We want to help you grow in a
spiritual way. In this class we teach you how to start four habits which enable
you to grow in your faith. You will learn how to have a daily meaningful quiet
time with the Lord; how to pray and get results; the blessing that comes from
being a generous and giving person; and the importance of having fellowship with
others who believe in Jesus Christ. If you get these four habits down, you could
be stranded on a deserted island and still grow!
CLASS 301 - DISCOVERING YOUR MINISTRY (3rd Base)
Blue is the color of refreshing water. When someone is thirsty and you give her
a drink, you have helped and have given nourishment. The moment you became a
Christian, God gave you some gifts or talents for the purpose of using them to
serve His kingdom. We want to help you discover your unique shape for ministry.
In this class we help you discover your spiritual gifts; what you are passionate
about in life; your abilities; your personality; and your experience and how you
can use your unique talents to serve God in a most fulfilling way.
CLASS 401 - DISCOVERING YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE (Home
Plate)
What am I really here for? You have probably pondered that question many times
before. Red is the color of blood. Jesus Christ gave his blood on the cross so
that you can live. In this class we teach you how significant your life is and
the indiscribable joy it brings when you start sharing the Good News with your
friends and family. God made you for a very specific reason. We want to help you
discover that reason.
